2010 Charities

In keeping with our mission to help kids swim, bike, and run.  We are donating a significant part of proceeds to the following charities and local organizations:

We will also continue to support the local summer swim club, which provides much needed activity and instruction for young swimmers at Sports*Com (our host site).

 
 

Triathlon Clinics

The clinics were a huge success with an average of 50 kids at each event.  The first two clinics concentrated on running and biking at the MTSU track.  The last two were at Sports*Com, our host site and we were able to swim and run a full practice at our last clinic on August 14th. 

For the last clinic, we had 85 kids swim, bike, and run.

 

 
 

Junior Division:

Ages 7 to 10 years old
(age as of 12/31/2010)
Swim 100 yards, bike 2.4 miles, and run 0.5 mile
 

Senior Division:

Ages 11 to 14 years old
(age as of 12/31/2010)
Swim 200 yards, bike 4.8 miles, and run 1 mile

We held four clinics to prepare for the big event, they were held on May 15th at MTSU Outdoor Track, June 12th at  MTSU Outdoor Track, July 17th at Sports*Com, and August 14th at Sports*Com.  Our last clinic was a full practice of the course and 85 kids were able to participate.
